Tidbits of Annie...a 4 year old tribute!

I didn't really get a chance to write about my favorite 4 year old GiRLy, Annie. Annie is...full of life. She is LOUD & FUN. She is iN lOve with daNcing, mUsic, a cOmbiNation of toons (cartoons), her beenie (blanket), sippie of juice, and a bowl of cereal or crackers, her big Bros's and little sis, play-dates with her MANY friends, school at Miss Jodi's, pAintiNg/cOloRing, fRoStiNg & sPrinKles, Quesadillas, a mOvie in mommy's bed, her cOusiNs & faMily, beiNg soCial, her toYs, fAnCy NaNcy, stOry tIme, CinDeRella, dreSsing Up, dreSsing Mylie Up, PriNceSses, pAintEd tOes & nAils, afteRnoon oUtiNgs, wAffle bRownies, dOra, sIngiNg, pAncaKes, pInk & pUrple, & anytHing giRly.
A few of mY fAvoRite things about Annie...sHe has a bIg vOcabulaRy and uSes "FaNcy NaNcY wOrds" all the time. She is HAPPY almost always; but watch OUT if she doesn't get enough rest...some sort of demand comes out of her skin & voice. She is always skippiNg & waVing her head back and forth like she is running through the CLOUDS or something. SHe loVes affection, cLoSeneSs, & cOmfOrt; it giVes me a good reASON to jUst sit and sNuggle with heR. My very fAvOrite thing about Annie, is that Annie lovEs to sHaRe (I think knowing how and loving to share is such a great quality), she always wants to make sure that everyone else gets to experience the goodness of her skittles, cookie, toy, movie, or what ever it is at the moment. I still remember sitting in church by a family we had not yet met. Annie had a little bag of M&M's and saw that the little girl next to us was looking at her. Annie goes over to this certain girl and says "do you like m&m's" the girl of course said "yes". Annie divided the bag between them. I love that about her.
Annie is a Special GiRl and we feel so foRtunate to hAve her in our family and LiFe. We lOve YOU so much Annie GiRl!

Oh NO! PooR giRl!

THank Heavens Annie went to her Dentist Appt. after all the Birthday fun. Look at her...as Bob would say "BOTOX gone WRONG"...way WRONG. But NO, it was her Dentist appt. She had 3 cavaties filled and, well knawed at her lip while it was NUMB. The outcome, not so good! After 4 days it is looking better, but still healing. Hopefully we have LEARNED A LESSON.

Slipping though my fingers...

So seeing Mama Mia for the first time when it came out in theaters became one of my favorite movies. It was one of those movies that I didn't anticipate or know anything about. Well, I cried in it! Although it is a comedy, I will never forget the mother-daughter scene where they sing "slipping through my fingers" as they are getting ready for the wedding. That song struck me and made me think of my 2 girls. It has really made me think of Annie as we have been celebrating her 4th birthday and because her and I are always listening to the Mama Mia soundtrack together. I see her getting older and growing up so fast and well... I see her slipping right through my fingers. I love her so much and am so grateful to have 2 beautiful daughters who I hope to be CLOSE to forever. The words of the song are so cute and so true. If you haven't heard it or really listened to it, listen to it again. The movie and music is a favorite too!

A wEek iN c A l i...

We took a trip to Cali with the whole Fredrick gang about 2 weeks ago. 4 days of Disneyland/California Adventure is truly MAGICAL... and truly eXhaUsting! Luckily Bob and I are major suckors for the whole DISNEY thing, so we are always just as excited as the kids. It is so fun to be there with some of our favorite people in the whole world and to have so many BUDDIES to ride the ride's with. This is a trip we always anticipate all year long. Although the weather wasn't as warm as we hoped it was so nice to ESCAPE Utah and ENjOy the California weather.

Baby Nick

We can't wait to meet this litttle Dude on May 1st. Ultrasounds never get old...witnessing a MIRACLE is pretty cool. This little guy was sucking his fingers, moving around, and eNjoying life inside a warm blanket of water. I am so grateful that things are looking good.
